• AIPGMEE rank has been announced. Got my rank letter. What should I do?

 

• Firstly, download your rank letter in the pdf format and save it in your email ID/google drive.
• Rank letters are made available on the website for a limited period of time. Better save a copy at the first instance

 

• Got my AIPGMEE rank, but I do not find the online counselling details in the NBE site. What do I do?

 

• The All India Quota online Counselling process is done by the Medical counselling committee. So, go to the website www.mcc.nic.in for details

 

• What is the scheme of counselling/ What happens in the counselling/What should I do after I’ve opened the website?

 

1. Register yourself for the counselling
   1. The dates for registration for counselling will be put up in the site
   2. Note the LAST DATE and TIME for registration
   3. Fill in the required details. You’ll be asked to create a password for login after registration. Save it(write it down/ save it somewhere in your mail ID)
   4. After registration, a registration slip is generated. Save a copy of it

 

 

 

• I’ve registered for counselling, what next?

1. Choice filling and submission

 

• Considerations while filling in choices for Round 1 of counselling

 

• Make note of the LAST DATE and TIME to fill choices and lock. take care to enter your choices within the time limit.
• ANY NUMBER OF CHOICES can be entered: Even if a seat at a college you desire is not indicated in the seat matrix for your category, enter that choice first. SEATS CAN BE ADDED TO THE SEAT MATRIX EVEN AFTER CHOICE LOCKING IS OVER.
• Make sure that even if you’re allotted your last filled choice, you will be ready to go and report to the college. Because reporting to the allotted college is a must after allotment. If this is not done, your seat gets cancelled and you would not be able to take part in the AIPGMEE counselling further.
• Be careful NOT TO fill anything and everything as your choice
• Your filling of choices is applicable for Round-1 and Round-2 of AIPGMEE counselling. No choices can be filled again before Round-3 of counselling starts
• Before final locking of choices, 2 Mock allotments(indicative seat allotment) are done. In the first Mock allotment, choices filled by candidates until that point are considered. Based on which seat you’ve been allotted, you can modify and re-order your choices if not satisfied. Mind you, MOCK allotment is NOT the final allotment for you.
• For further refinement, a 2nd mock allotment is also done. 2nd mock allotment gives you a better idea of your possible final allotment as more candidates would have filled their choices.Remember, this is also NOT the final allotment.
• Refine your choices after this. Read through your choices thoroughly as you may have entered many choices. You can  ‘LOCK’ your choices at this point.
• After the last seconds of choice filling are reached, choice LOCKING is automatically done. You could lock the options yourself if you’re satisfied with your options. After locking, changes CANNOT be made in the list
• While entering the choices, do not worry about the ‘SEAT MATRIX’. The

 

 

 

• I’ve been allotted a seat in round 1 . What next?

 

• Go to mcc.nic.in and click on the tab mentioning ‘Provisional allotment result- round 1. Enter your Testing ID/Roll number and take a printout of the Allotment result.
• Note the LAST DATE AND TIME FOR REPORTING to allotted institute.
• Take note of the holidays at the state in which your seat is allotted.
• Call up the college and ask them all the documents required for admission. The AIPGMEE brochure doesn’t mention about a few documents(such as eligibility certificate, transfer certificate and migration certificate as well)
• Ask them specifically about mode of payment of fees (whether in cash/cheque/DD)
• At Least 2 days for admission is required if your allotted seat is in another state. Getting the eligibility certificate from the concerned university takes time.
• As you have to submit your original documents in the college, TAKE SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF PHOTOCOPIES before submitting.
• As soon as your admission is completed, the college authority gives you an ‘ALLOTMENT LETTER’, fee receipt and an acknowledgement that your original documents are deposited in the college. Do not forget these.
• Also during printing the allotment letter at the college, you will be asked if you are willing to take part in round 2 and round 3 of counselling. If willing, say yes and this will be entered in your allotment letter

 

• I have been allotted a seat in my state counselling as well. I have to surrender my AIPGME seat. How do I do it?

 

There will NOT be any indicative(mock) allotment in 3rd round of allotment.

Who are eligible for 3rd Round of allotment: All candidates interested in participation in the third round counseling are required to submit fresh choices, without which they would not be considered

 

You cannot take part in round-3 of counselling if:

• YOU DO NOT REPORT at Allotted Institute after seat allotment in either 1st or 2nd rounds
• YOU REPORTED, BUT WITHDREW/SURRENDERED seat or RESIGNED from the Allotted Institute.
• YOUR OPTION for participation in 3rd round is NO(you do not want to attend 3rd round)

 

• Your category changes during document verification.(eg: OBC to unreserved(UR) during verification)
