Unreported cases could be even more.<\/li>\n<li>In one of the latest incidents, a senior Gastroenterologist from Allahabad was attacked inside the ICU premises because of death of a serious patient.<\/li>\n<li>A duty doctor in Panvel was also attacked recently for the death of a patient, later it was found out that the doctor was not even involved in treating the patient.<\/li>\n<li>Before that doctors staged a massive protest in Delhi protesting the attack on one of their colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Attacks like these and many more have created an air of fear in the minds of doctors all over the country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><i>\u201cDoctors can guarantee best treatment, but doctors cannot guarantee 100% results.&#8221;<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>It is becoming impossible for doctors to work under so much fear. A fearless environment must be created for proper health care delivery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><i>\u201cPeople who attack doctors should be called terrorists because they are creating a terror in the minds of doctor against good work.\u201d <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Stringent laws should be made to save the doctor from these unruly elements and punishment should be given as that given to a terrorist.
