The 2013 batch IAS officer is also a MBBS graduate.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Jagdish Sonkar routinely visited a government hospital and interacted with mothers of malnourished children bein treated there. He is the sub-divisional magistrate of Ramanujganj in Balrampur district. <\/p>\n<p>Sonkar told Hindustan Times that he went to the hospital with good intentions and examined some patients too. &#8220;My action was unintentional and avoidable,&#8221; he said. He didn&#8217;t show remorse to the harsh comments on social media despite the charges pinned on him for showing disrespect to people.
